Locu is Now in Public Beta

We've reached an incredible milestone. Locu is now in Public Beta! Everyone on our waitlist has been notified, and we've incorporated valuable feedback from our Closed Beta users. A huge thank you to all who helped shape Locu so far! Starting today, Locu is available for download on macOS and Windows.

πŸ“… My Day

Based on your feedback, we realized something was missing. A space to track progress throughout the day with clear priorities for that day. That's why we're introducing the My Day screen! After planning, My Day becomes your main screen, showing today's priorities alongside the timer and active task. We've also added a timeline view, where you can see all of your sessions, both finished and currently running. This timeline is now the place for session management, allowing you to manually adjust both time and context for each session.

Google Calendar Integration

The timeline view in My Day now supports Google Calendar sync, making it easy to see what meetings you have during the current workday.

  • You can update your attendance directly in Locu.

  • If you don't plan to attend a meeting, you can hide it from your timeline to focus on more valuable work

  • When a meeting is about to start, Locu automatically switches to Meeting Mode. This mode allows you to join the meeting (if a meeting URL is provided) and take meeting notes.

  • You can also prepare meeting notes in advance by opening upcoming events.

App and Web Blockers

App and Web Blockers are now available on macOS.

  • Choose which apps and websites to block during work sessions.

  • Block distractions for all sessions or only for Deep Work Mode.

  • Example: Block social media for all sessions, but restrict team communication tools like Slack only during Deep Work Mode.

Windows support

Locu is now available on macOS and Windows!
Windows users: The app is currently unsigned, so you'll need to mark it as safe when launching it for the first time.
