Support for task priorities

At minimum show priority from linear directly in task list. (Important for planning phase)
I would also benefit from simple priority system for internal Locu tasks.

    Hey 👋

That’s a great idea. Having Linear priority visible directly in the task list would be really helpful.

We’re currently working on a UI update to support multiple chips in Tasks, so we can display multiple fields like projects, labels, estimated time, integration ID, and (as you mentioned) Linear priority. We already sync priorities from Linear into Locu, so once the multi-chip UX is ready, we can definitely add Linear priority there as well.

Regarding an internal priority system for Locu tasks: how would you imagine it working alongside Linear priorities, and what would be the main purpose for you?

Right now, you can already prioritize tasks by sorting them based on their position in the list. Do you want an additional way to mark tasks as urgent / high / medium / low, so the priority is always visible even if the task isn’t at the very top?

We’re also introducing a label system, which will enable use cases like marking tasks as deep work. Labels will also be usable for planning sessions (e.g., planning a session only for tasks with a specific label). Do you think labels could work for priorities as well, or would you still prefer a dedicated priority field?

Thanks again for the idea, super helpful!
