Feature Request

  • Editing task names

    • If I’m writing up a lot of tasks and I make a typo or want to rewrite something, it’s not very pleasant to have to right-click and search for the Edit option. Single clicking a task IMO should allow to rewrite the name

  • Replacing X with ←

    • When I double clicked a task the first time and a new window appeared, it was a bit unintuitive to go back to the list of tasks by clicking the X in the top right corner. I was looking for an ← to go back instead.

    • I see this in different parts of the app as well

    • Maybe it’s just my habits as someone coming over from Windows, but clicking an X in top right corner feels like I’m about to close the app

  • Make Task log more apparent

    • It took me a while to find the Task log menu, was not really expecting it to be under my current profile since I thought that it is something related to the current window (Tasks) rather than to my profile in general

  • Drag and dropping

    • Moving tasks around by drag-and-drop would be a great feature

    Make Task log more apparent

    • You’re right. This shouldn’t be part of the general settings. We’ll move it under the workspace dropdown menu which is always visible in the app’s main screen. Would you also like to see a shortcut for the Tasks Log to make it more accessible and faster?

    Drag and dropping

    • This is definitely a must have! It’s already on our roadmap.

    Editing task names

    • We optimized for keyboard navigation, so it’s currently possible to edit task name by pressing “E”. However, you’ve made a great point. Using the mouse doesn’t feel intuitive and easy. How would you expect the single click interaction to work? Currently, the single click selects the task to enable keyboard interactions like arrow navigation and shortcuts. Would you expect that clicking on the task name immediately starts editing it?
